Jon Anderson is a skilled litigator and retired U.S. military officer whose diverse legal and service background strengthens Stephen Kelly Law’s commitment to robust, principled representation.
Prior to earning his J.D. from the University of New Mexico and LL.M. specializing in space, cyber, and national security law from the University of Nebraska, Jon served 12 years in the U.S. Army as an infantryman and combat engineer. In uniform, he led units in Iraq and Kuwait and served with a special operations task force in Afghanistan. Upon earning his J.D., Jon joined the U.S. Air Force as a judge advocate, beginning his Air Force career as a criminal prosecutor and later served under a top-secret clearance within Air Force Cyber Command — giving him unique insight into military, security, and administrative law matters.
Jon retired from active duty military service in 2025.
Backed by this experience, Jon brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to legal advocacy. He represents clients in workers’ compensation and police and firefighter pension board hearings — always prioritizing clarity, integrity, and tenacious advocacy.
